Fundraising

MSF relies upon its families to participate in fundraising events and activities.  Our tuition has been set at a level that does not cover the real costs involved in the delivery of our program and we depend on school fundraisers to subsidize what we do not charge in tuition.  Some programs and events that help support MSF include:

Auctions - In 2010, we hosted a Songwriters' Night featuring JoDee Messina, Julie Lee, and Ron Block in December with a live auction for amazing vacation packages and signed musical memoriabilia.  In the Spring we had a second Songwriters' Night with Hugh Moffatt, Leslie Satcher, and the Mark W. Winchester Trio in conjunction with a silent auction. 

Kroger cards - Rechargeable Kroger cards are available from the school office. Each card costs $10, and can be used just like a $10 gift card. By using cash or your credit/debit card to refill your card when you go through the checkout line, MSF receives 4% back from Kroger. The 'charged up' card is then used like cash at any checkout line at any Kroger. Buy one for family and friends to use too!

Publix cards - Cards are scanned as you purchase groceries from Publix, and MSF receives a percentage of accumulated total purchases.  Cards are available in the office.

Harris Teeter VIC cards - If you have a VIC card, please go online and link it to MSF so that we receive a percentage of your purchases.  The code for MSF is 4867.

Boxtops 4 Education -  MSF is collecting boxtops for education, to be redeemed for cash for our school and its programs. A collection box is located in the front lobby near the parent mailboxes.   For more information, please visit the Boxtops 4 Education website at www.boxtops4education.com.

Scholastic Books - Families who purchase Scholastic books through MSF earn the school credit for books for the classrooms!   Order forms will be placed in your mailbox periodically.  Additionally, you may place your orders on line by going to www.scholasticbooks.com/parentordering.  Our class user name is franklinmontessori, and our password is lovebooks. 

Schoolpop Shop and Earn Program - Earn money for MSF through your regular online shopping. Simply register with school code 129699 on the Schoolpop website at www.schoolpop.com and then sign-in and shop online through the Schoolpop website. There are hundreds of merchants and MSF receives cash back (often a very generous percentage) on your purchases. Share the news with family and friends of MSF too!

Sally Foster wrapping paper sale - MSF makes 50% of all items sold! Orders will be taken in September and products delivered before Thanksgiving. Sally Foster provides great quality paper and MSF is one of the schools in the area that still has it available. To sell to out-of-town friends and family: register and send e-mails by clicking on: sellersection.entertainment.com/sellerSection/ and use account #0654865 so MSF will receive credit. MSF can continue to receive credit from online sales through January of the following year. 

Montessori Services "For Small Hands" Catalog - Parents ordering items for home use can designate a school to receive a 10% credit. MSF's school number is 115304.
